Lousia Susannah Cheves McCord was the second wife of David James McCord. Both the McCord and Cheves names were very well known in the early years of South Carolina. David J. McCords first wife, Emmeline Wagner was the mother of Henry Junius McCord and our line of the McCords. This picture is of a bust of Lousia that she never cared much for. |
